  Very disappointed with this place. Normally when we get out to the coast on Vacation, we check out the local seafood place for fresh and delicious seafood. First day we were here, purchased bacon wrapped scallops. When the lady behind the counter was putting them into the bag, I noticed that they seemed to be sitting in a lot of juice - probably should have been the first warning sign. Took them home and when I took them out to cook them, I noticed how fishy they smelled. The scallops were tiny - maybe 1/2 inch across. We cooked them as the lady in the store told us to and they were some of the worst tasting I've ever eaten. Thought we'd give them another try as they had live BC spotted prawns coming in (supposedly the next morning). We left our number and the lady said she would call when the prawns came in. No call from them ever! Stopped in the next day to be told the prawns didn't come in - come back tomorrow. Stopped in the next day and the prawns were in - no call. The lady behind the counter is terrible - they need to replace her. We purchased the prawns in the morning and I've never dealt with live prawns before, so asked the lady how to keep them. She had just reached into a fridge that was behind the counter and plopped them into a plastic bag, and she told us to just leave them in the bag in the fridge and they would last up to 48 hours like that. We paid $23.95/lb and ended up having to through out 25% of them by supper time because the heads had gone all black and they weren't moving. Of the rest of them, none were very active - all barely moving - and couldn't hold their tails straight. Unfortunately, two bad experiences with this place do not earn them another try. We'll never return if this is the kind of service and quality that they provide. The place was never busy with customers anytime we went by and now I know why. If I was a local, I would avoid this place and not recommend it.
